“On May 5, Monday, we must do everything for the independent doctors to have an access to Vardan Petrosyan” so responded Vardan Petrosyan’s Lawyer Nikolay Baghdasaryan to the question of Aravot.am of how the organization of independent doctor’s visiting the actor Vardan Petrosyan’s isolation cell is proceeding. Recall that recently Vardan Petrosyan was moved from the Hospital for Convicts to Nubarashen penitentiary. Later, Nikolay Baghdasaryan stated that there are no specialized physicians in Nubarashen PI who can provide appropriate medical treatment to his client, hence, it is necessary to arrange a meeting of independent physicians with Vardan Petrosyan. Nikolay Baghdasaryan informed that the group of physicians is from Armenia, and detailed, “They need to check the conditions at the Nubarashen PI to find out whether they will have a negative impact on the health of Vardan Petrosyan, or not. They need to hold a consilium and arrive at conclusion on either it is possible for Vardan to stay there, or not.” Nikolay Baghdasaryan informed us that as per Vardan Petrosyan, he must walk around for a few hours in the fresh air, which will take him to the rehabilitation phase of recovery. In this respect, Vardan Petrosyan’s lawyer said. “Vardan’s bioorgan has been removed, he has lung and heart problems. Now, walking around in a closed place, in a closed cell for an hour in the recovery phase, or general poor conditions would hardly take Vardan to recovery. ”
