Non-functioning “Armavia” airline company a major taxpayer?

Last year, in January-December, “Gazprom Armenia”, the same “ArmRusGasArd”, is leading the list of 1000 major taxpayers by passing ahead to “Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Mine” for the same period of 2013. In 2014, the gas supply company has paid 42,399,361.2 AMD to the state budget. We learn about this from the list of major taxpayers released by the Ministry of Finance. The Customs authorities have collected 413,279.8 AMD from “Gazprom Armenia”. The company’s direct taxes: the profit tax and income tax amount to 4,829,201.8 AMD. “K-Telecom” ranks the 2nd, which ranked the 3rd in the list of 1000 major taxpayers for the period of January-December, 2013. Last year, the mobile operator has paid 27,597,238.5 AMD to the tax authorities, a year before – a little more than 29,109,140.0 AMD.

NA MP Samvel Aleksanyan’s “Alex Grig’s” taxes paid to tax authorities amounted to 2,839,312.4 AMD, 18,732,210.1 AMD to customs authorities, direct taxes – 1,943,210.0 AMD. Compared with 2013, “Alex Grig” has raised its position by one ranking the 3rd in the list. Last year, the “Zangezur copper-molybdenum plant” ranked the 4th in the list by yielding the position by three lines. In 2013, the Company has paid 34,933,416.2 AMD, in 2014 – 17,080,925.6 AMD. “ArmenTel” company, which ranks the 5th in the list has paid 15,737,351.0 AMD to tax authorities. This mobile company ranked the 5th for the same period in 2013, but it has paid 14,833,497.3 AMD.

“Armenia’s electrical networks” ranks the 6th in the list with its 12,392,011.5 AMD paid tax. This Company ranked the 7th in 2013 by paying 9,995,068.4 AMD to tax authorities. The next in the taxpayers list is the “Flash” company belonging to Barsegh Beglaryan, which has paid 1,575,635.9 AMD. “Grand Tobacco Armenian – Canadian Joint Venture” has paid 7,924,856.3 AMD. “CPS Oil Corporation” ranks the 9th in the list of major taxpayers, whose tax amounts to 9,618,764.4 AMD. “Philip Morris Armenia” Company ranks the 10th in the list, by paying generally 8,029,934.0 AMD. Noteworthy, that already non-functioning “Armavia” airline company ranked the 11th in the list of major taxpayers for 2014, whose paid taxes amount to 7,176,510.8 AMD.
