The attendees to the 89th NATO Parliamentary Assembly “Rose Roth” seminar hosted in Yerevan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. The former Chairman of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Hugh Bayley, in the interview with Aravot.am and News.am, shared his impressions. “It’s the horrible chapter in the history,” he said and added that he thinks that in the Armenian Genocide Museum, Armenians have preserved what had happened. “The international community learns lessons from the genocide, the World War II, the Holocaust and the events when the human being has ceased to function as a human being. It casts a shadow on humanity.” In conclusion, Hugh Bayley called on the Armenian people, “You have to remember all that has happened and inform the humanity of what has happened when the politics is unable to solve the disagreements and the violence comes at once. This is horrible.”
