All my family members are here, they as one are here because they want to fight for everything to goes normally in Armenia.” She said that she attends all protests. “I generally take part in such things, if you recall, once there was a 150 drams protest. I first of all always participate for my own conscience, without any hypocrisy. Generally, I am a fearless person and I fear only my God and I wish my people live well. I, in addition to singing, in addition to being a singer, should think about them too, because I am a part of the people. I just do not do anything formally. My family is here now too, and we all do all of this from the heart, with soul. I call on nothing goes expensive that our people would live well, I wish everything would go well.”

I personally have my own mindset and my opinion. I do not want to politicize everything because I’m a singer, but I am a part of the people. I am concerned about many issues. We must be united and fight. I think everything will end up successfully. I only wish the people to live well and do not leave their country, that’s it.” Later on, Sona Shahgeldyan said, “Definitely, an issue will be solved, at least my heart … I do not know is quiet.” We clarified, in other words, if your heart were troubled, one could say that some acts of violence were to happen, she replied, “No, no, I would never wish violence, because, you know, everyone does its job, you cannot compel anyone and blame. Everyone is a part of the people. I respect each one in its own way. I do not like fighting, that everything comes to a fight, I wish everything will proceed in peace and will go away.”

To our observation that Serzh Sargsyan has suggested a solution, but people are still in Baghramyan Avenue, so whether it is right to stay, she replied, “I have not watched Serzh Sargsyan’s solution, frankly speaking. But if he has suggested, naturally, I respect his decision, and everything can be changed and go for the better.” Sona Shahgeldyan said that at least, she does not demand Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation. “I respect everyone. I’m just as mortal, and I cannot do everything. Only God can do and see everything. You know what, everything general should be solved, it is not by one person or two persons. This issue should be given a very serious solution. I think the successful solution will follow. It is not only the electricity, many other issues must be addressed. At the same time, I love my city very much, I love my youth very much, I do my job with love, and basically I’m doing my job, and I’m not afraid of anyone that I am here now. I am here now as Sona, caring about the people.” In fact, Sona’s mother and sister said that Sona is a kind-hearted person and has brought food for the protesters.
