“Armenian Vector” Initiative Launches
On March 2, 2026, a group of public and social figures—including political scientists, economists, demographers, Orientalists, international lawyers, high-tech engineers, and representatives of other fields—announced the launch of the “Armenian Vector” initiative.
The idea for the initiative was born from numerous sectoral discussions, stemming from the imperative to ensure broader participation of both professionals in different fields and the general public in Armenia’s public-political life, governance, and the reform process.
The inaugural gathering of the initiative resolved to authorize the initiators, through the month of March, to:
- Develop the ideological and programmatic foundation of the initiative;
- Launch a series of consultations with like-minded individuals, public figures, and forces to discuss prospects for broad public, civic, and political consolidation;
- Make a decision regarding the founding convention, the institutional registration of the initiative, and the format of potential participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, 2026.
Henceforth, the initiative’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61588354840065) will provide updates on current and important events.
