The opening of the first TUMO Center in Georgia took place at the Kutaisi Technology Hub. The TUMO Kutaisi Center was officially inaugurated by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Opened with financial support from the Georgian bank Bank of Georgia, the Armenian TUMO Center provides young people aged 12–18 with the opportunity to develop their digital, technological, and creative skills free of charge.
More than 1,500 students have already enrolled in the educational programs offered by the center.
The opening ceremony were attended by Ashot Smbatyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia, Archil Gachechiladze, CEO of Bank of Georgia, Marie Lou Papazian and Pegor Papazian, founders of the TUMO Center, and Avtandil Kasradze, Director of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
