On April 3, an extended special session of the Political Science Association of Armenia was convened; the situation due to the unleashed large-scale hostilities along the entire Karabakh-Azerbaijani contact line was high on the agenda.
The Chairman of the Association, Head of the Institute for National Strategic Studies, MOD, Doctor of Political Science, Professor, Major General Hayk Kotanjian and Association members ̶ leading political scientists of the Republic –condemned the subversive military action triggered off by Azerbaijan to derail the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries targeted at the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh Conflict. The necessity of mobilizing the political-science potential in the given situation was highlighted. The Association has made a decision to come up with a relevant statement, as well as an agreement has been reached to make individual professional comments on behalf of the PSAA Board.
