By two consecutive degrees signed on August 10, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, has dismissed the Public Administration Institution of the National Security Council, discharged its entire staff and established a National Security Council Secretariat.
The Head of the President’s Office and the Secretary of the National Security Council have been instructed to present the charter and the structure of the newly established Secretariat for the President’s approval by September 1.
The government has been instructed to, in cooperation with the National Security Council, insure that the discharged staff receives due social security compensation.
The order and decree comes into force on the tenth day following the declaration of the decree.
