The video of “Artsakh, listen!” by “Vostan Hayots” rock group is ready (producer – Suren Sargsyan and Director – Arpi Maghakyan). In an interview with Aravot.am, Suren Sargsyan noted that the song was created during the Artsakh war for existence, in other words, about 25 years ago. This song by “Vostan Hayots” is quite famous, the words and the music belong to “Vostan Hayots”. The guys have played it this during various concerts, and it has always been an inspiring song. Since “Vostan Hayots” band has worked quite actively for many years, we decided to shoot a beautiful video dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Artsakh,”-said the producer.
He added that they have thought of an interesting solution to make the video creative and unique: “First of all, we wanted to connect Artsakh and Armenia in a nice way, at the same time, we thought that the flight of the base jumpers (base jumping is a fringe sport in which a person jumps from a fixed place and uses a parachute to slow down before the ground is reached) from above would be spectacular under the rock music. We fixed cameras on them, took our cameras and began filming the flights of the base jumpers. Most interestingly, three base jumpers who were jumping from the height with the flag of Artsakh and after landing give the flag to the children who in turn pass it to “Vostan Hayots” guys are foreigners. They citizens of France, US and Russia, in other words, citizens of the Minsk Group co-chair countries. Incidentally, we had not planned it, it was an unexpected solution.”

In Suren Sargsyan’s words, the message of the video is formulated in the words of the song: “The song’s words are powerful when it is said that we should be drowning in a sea of blood but we should hold thy glory high. In other words, no matter what are the developments, anyway, Artsakh will be recognized as an independent state. This is the desire of all Armenians by and large. The message is that we will put everything aside and fight for free and independent Artsakh.”
