Victor Dallakyan was a good and effective legislator, the legislative work was his element, and he authored several quality laws have proved their viability until now. He was not re-elected in the 2012 parliamentary elections. There was no need to make a tragedy out of this and keep revenge in all these years on the legislator winning in his election precinct, try to take revenge and discredit him. “Taking offense” is not an effective emotion: if it did not work this time, it will work next time, or even if it fails all the time, there are many other interesting things in life.
But no, narcissism makes an integral part of the character of the politician, which is expressed in people of such “profession” to some extent but it should not mandatorily be. In addition, communicating in “higher circles”, the service car, the secretary, mediating to the “upper people” on this-or-that matter, it is difficult to give up these elements of nomenclature life. And Viktor Dallakyan had decided to “collect” these nice stones for 4 years by holding a high position in the presidential administration.
He was silently sitting in the cozy corner for four years but one day, he woke up and found out that the government to which he serves is not legitimate, that corruption is thriving in the country, the poverty rate is higher and so on and so forth. Naturally, a question arises as to how he was silently working for four years for someone who, in his words, should wear striped clothes. The answer: I was not working, I was pretending to work, I was going to work back and forth and get paid. If this is the case, then it is worse. Arthur Baghdasaryan was at least taking off thorns from the finger of the people when holding the office of the Secretary of the National Security Council (though, why is it necessary to have a National Security Council? Frankly speaking, I did not understand until now).
In addition, perhaps Viktor Dallakyan is sick and tired of the status of a “young retiree” and he again decided to become a legislator. There are two options here: either to join the RPA party or to become an opposition. In the first option, as I understand, Mr. Dallakyan was not given guarantees. The opposition option is left. But the “starting conditions” for this figure are too bad: the usual opposition rhetoric coming out from the person who has just left Baghramyan 26 does not sound convincing. Never mind, as they say, trying does not mean failing.
