Rustavi-2 journalist asks Putin about occupied territories

A Georgian journalist asked Russian President Vladimir Putin about occupied territories at the Presidential Residence on Baghramyan 26.

When Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was leading the other leaders of EAEU countries inside for the EAEU Grand Assembly session, a Georgian journalist from Rustavi-2 ignored ceremonial procedure and left the space that was intended for journalists. The journalist attempted to approach the leaders.

Then, she asked Russian President Vladimir Putin, “When are you going to carry out your responsibilities and leave the Georgian occupied territories?” “Russia always carries out its responsibilities,” Vladimir Putin responded.

Security guards and one woman, who was likely her colleague, approached the woman and removed her from the area.

Activist and head of the Helsinki Association NGO Nina Karapetyants and a group of people were also carrying out protests in front of Baghramyan 26 with posters stating, “For our freedom.”
