There are many people who consider their mission to fight against an evil. Catholics used to fight against protestants and vice versa. “Red Army” used to fight against the “white army”, the West is fighting against the “Islamic state”, the United States is fighting against Russia. If you replace them by places, the result is the same – a struggle.
It seems to me that it is an outdated and ineffective model. If you are a red or white, a Bolshevik or Menshevik, you yourself do not create a worthy alternative, you do not represent yourself such an alternative, then your “struggle” and even “victory” does not cost a penny. ISIS commits crimes against humanity, yes. But it is not only a group of bandits but it also has an army of hundreds of thousands of supporters. Has the West become a model of humanism and honesty for these people? Probably, not. Otherwise, the number of these supporters would sharply fall. The “Red Army” was seizing the last cow from the villagers to develop a “kolkhoz”, while the “white army” was not even giving a guarantee for a decent life. The government is “thief-robber”, so why the people do not put those who say so on the “throne.” Because they do not say anything except wishing to thieve and rob themselves.
The same is true for journalism. No need to fight for quality journalism, you need to be a qualified journalist. No need to criticize young people for they are inventing “news” sitting at the computer. You must be an example of how to write news. Let the reader put this news and the “news” side by side and decide which one he needs.
The same is true for the economy. There was no need to fight against “ArmenTel”. Simply, “VivaCell” and “Orange” were placed next to it and “ArmenTel” stopped being evil, continuing to deliver its services in this competitive environment.
No need to fight against Samvel Alexanyan. The only thing that is necessary is to create equal conditions for the business. The target, the goal must be positive. If you are initiating something for causing “evil” to somebody, you become equally evil as the target of your “fight”. By killing the dragon, you yourself become a dragon. It is a known story.
