“With such behavior, Azerbaijan once again showed that it despises and rejects the agreements reached in Vienna and St. Petersburg. Azerbaijan reiterates that it has lost itself in the peace process and has reached an impasse, perhaps, it has failed,” – said NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, in an interview with journalists, referring to the attempt of diversion operation carried out by Azerbaijan in the Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact. Eduard Sharmazanov opines that the international community should strictly condemn Azerbaijan’s criminal behavior.
To the question of Aravot.am of whether the possibility of resumption of hostilities is increasing as the negotiation process has reached an impasse, Edward Sharmazanov replied, “I am just excluding the large-scale war. Maybe there will be a large-scale war in theory but not in practice.” He does not exclude the fact that the penetration attempt of diversion operation may be repeated again.
