Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan visited today the traditional Armprodexpo specialized exhibition opened at the Yerevan Expo hall of the Yerevan Science and Research Institute of Mathematical Machines. As the press department of the Government reports, Prime Minister Karapetyan toured the Armprodexpo pavilions, conversed with the participants of the exhibition, familiarized with their production, development programs and the problems which hamper the grow of the production volumes and the export.
Prime Minister Karapetyan recommended the representatives of the companies to prepare a package of proposals and submit to the government.
The head of the cabinet highlighted the use of modern technologies in the production process, expressing readiness on behalf of the government to support the economic entities.

“Negotiations with the Agriculture minister are underway to set up a company in cooperation with the private sector which will look for markets for the Armenian agricultural products and processed food. Clearly defined quality parameters should be worked out to align with in order to invest resources and search for proper markets,” the head of the cabinet noted.
To note, Armprodexpo exhibition was attended by representatives of all branches engaged in the food production and procession from Armenia’s all marzes and the Nagorno Karabakh Republic as well as by around 90 service providers to the agrarian sphere.
