Armenian Nuclear Power Plant has resumed power generation on Wednesday, Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure and Natural resources reported in a released statement.
According to it, the power plant was removed from power generation networks for repair and refueling services since September 20, 2016.
Apart from refueling and planned repair works, measures were taken in accordance with the prolongation of the exploitation period of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant’s second energy block, as envisaged by the first phase. Comprehensive inspection of the systems, equipment and constructions of the energy bloc was implemented, the statement details.
