Foreign Minister of Armenia received the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand

On February 6, Kriangsak Kittichaisaree, newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Armenia (residence in Moscow), presented the copies of his credentials to Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Congratulating Ambassador Kittichaisaree on his appointment, Minister Nalbandian emphasized, that Armenia attaches great importance to the development and strengthening of relations with Thailand and wished Ambassador all the success in his important mission.

Thanking for the best wishes, Ambassador of Thailand in his turn noted, that Thailand is interested in expanding cooperation with Armenia and he will spare no effort towards enriching the bilateral agenda.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed holding regular consultations between the two Foreign Ministries was discussed. The sides also touched upon the issues with regards to intensifying the cooperation within international institutions.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the steps to be undertaken towards strengthening relations between the two countries, including organization of high-level visits, expansion of legal framework, cooperation between legislative bodies, intensification of trade and economic contacts, promotion of cultural exchanges. The existing potential for tourism as well as the necessity to explore it was mutually emphasized.
