“It is not ruled out that Artsakh’s independence will be recognized by one state till the end of the year,” Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian made such a statement during the briefing following the meeting with President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Bako Sahakyan. Panorama.am reports referring to the correspondent of Artsakhpress news agency.
Meanwhile FM Nalbandian noted that the recognition of Artsakh’s independence by one more state is not still enough for its international recognition. He said that the talks over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that are today conducted with the Co-Chairs aim at reaching exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict on the basis of the self-determination of Artsakh.
“Azerbaijan fails in the negotiations. The leadership of that country has ended up in a deadlock and tries to achieve success by means of using force. However our armed forces make such intentions and great illusions useless as well,” Nalbandian added.
