On March 4, “Hayk” Information Center hosted Zoya Tadevosyan (PPA-Congress), Susanna Muradyan (ORO Alliance), Mariana Frunjyan (“Armenian Renaissance”) and political scientist Levon Shirinyan. Ahead of the beginning of the campaign, the women candidates spoke about their own parties programs, while the political scientist spoke about all of them. Zoya Tadevosyan particularly noted, “Denying the populism, the widespread practice of seizing a seat in the parliament, the ANC is participating in the elections with is a slogan which gives rise to conflicting opinions. The slogan peace, reconciliation and good neighborliness are necessary to people because the mankind has long left the era of barbarity behind.”
In her words, for example, the view of the representative of the political force is not acceptable that the issue of Karabakh should be left to the people of Karabakh. Zoya Tadevosyan worded that it is not appropriate to a serious political force. “No economist can prove that developments are possible in war conditions when the economy is in a serious economic situation. In the last ten years, ten billion dollars outflow and 500 thousand people emigrated from Armenia … The investors and the foreign capital are very sensitive to the political situation. Doesn’t any economist know it? No country in a war is a capital receiving country, hence no need to delude people that any country can develop during the war,” said Mrs. Tadevosyan. She urged to return the wealth confiscated from the people back to the people.
Susanna Muradyan noted that they are proud of the union of three well-known political figures: Vartan Oskanian, Raffi Hovhannisyan and Seyran Ohanyan, who formed an alliance which pursues a goal to take out the country from economic and political crisis. The ORO representative said that there is also a reference in their program to achieving results on Artsakh issue through a peaceful settlement. She emphasized that they have decided not to criticize any opposition party or alliance. As mentioned by Susanna Muradyan, their sole target is the Republican Party whose policy is to be blamed for the fact that 50 000 people left Armenia and 10 billion money has gone out of the country. “Initially, we say that we exclude any cooperation and alliance with the Republican Party, we have not come here to play games but we want to carry out our realistic program which is human-centered,” emphasized the ORO representative.
Later, she mentioned some program elements, including the fact that 50 billion drams should be allocated for the army every year, have programs for healing the economy, also organize immigration, implement agricultural loans, promote to the birth rate and so on. Mariana Frunjyan said she is coordinating the social and civic platform of the “Armenian Renaissance.” “Each NGO was able to bring out the problem that has dealt with for years,” she said. She also spoke about the return of deposits and said that the process continues and there is no populism there.

“Every problem that we have presented, we have raised them from the bottom. On Monday, we will have our presentation and our leader being a pro-state will present you the elaborated action plan,” she added. Levon Shirinyan reacted that the thesis is approved that if the country does not have a normal organism by the party-political system, it is not allowed to switch to a parliamentary model. “The main fighting masses are united in interest groups, let’s hope that it will not continue to remain a non-political process,” said the political scientist.
