According to the parliamentary candidate of “Free Democrats” party Anahit Bakhshyan, the death of “Bread bringer” should have an impact and leave a trace on these elections and the election campaigns.
“Arthur’s death should be a divider on the ongoing campaigns; the society should see why they shouldn’t vote for the dominant party. This accident could have happened to any of us, this speaks about unfair republic, unfair system and non-anthropocentric republic. Let them say whatever they want, let them talk about whatever they want in their programs, a human being doesn’t have a value in our country. That one person who was loved by our nation and whose selflessness was appreciated, paid with his life for this. This reality is very woeful”, said Anahit Bakhshyan in “Hayeli” press club.
Styopa Safaryan continued, saying that our country has turned into a punishment tool for citizens. “Arthur Sargsyan’s case is not the only one, when under the name of justice a person is being tortured or an arrest is imposed without a base, sometimes only by one policeman’s testimony. A lot of people have become victims of that same arrest. It’s unpleasant for me, when I hear condolences from those people, who had the chance to change the situation. The prime minister shouldn’t have only expressed his sorrow; he should have also announced that this vicious practice should end.”
Mr. Safaryan said that he’d not want to sum up the century of Arthur Sargsyan with mourning and sorrow, because “It’s not only about that certain political period, it’s about the whole system and it has to have a result in the form of the system’s shifting.
