‘What a disgrace, we have no parliament, an 8 percent parliament:’ Parliament monitoring findings

The responsible of the “Parliament monitoring” program summarized the NA activities of the fifth convocation.  The Program Manager Lusine Vasilyan said that Gagik Tsarukyan, Vartan Oskanian, Ashot Aghababyan and Hrant Bagratyan are the ones who are the most absentees in this convocation of the parliament.  The RPA members Razmik Zohrabyan, Ruben Hovsepyan, and Hrant Grigoryan are the ones who mostly voted in favor of.  Aghvan Vardanyan, Armen Rustamyan and Alexander Arzumanyan are the ones who mostly voted abstained.  Nikol Pashinyan, Alexander Arzumanyan and Postanjyan are the ones who mostly voted against in this Parliament.  Eventually, Michael Melkumyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan and Hovhannes Margaryan are the ones who are the most active lawmakers in this parliament.  The ANC faction Secretary Aram Manukyan is among the top ten.

PAP MP Michael Melkumyan said that he is very happy for being the most active in the parliament.  He said that when he is talking about the lawmakers who “have not uttered a word” in the parliament for 5 years, he is said that the National Assembly is not a NAS, “If thieves and idlers are presented in the society, they must be presented there.”

Aram Manukyan, speaking about the figures, said, “What a shame, we did not have a Parliament, it is an 8 percent Parliament.  They are buttons”.  He was referring to the figure that the overwhelming majority of the National Assembly laws are written by the government.
