The Azerbaijani forces broke the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan 40 times overnight to April 19-20, firing around 500 shots toward the Armenian positions from firearms of different calibers.
As the Defense Army of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic reports, Azerbaijani forces applied sniper rifles (77 shells) in the northern and eastern directions of the Line of Contact.
Defense Army frontline units exercise full control on the frontline and continue the reliable protection of the combat positions, the statement added.
