Journalists asked a candidate for the mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan who came up with the ‘hawk’ password. He said that they have announced from the Republican’s office that there is not such a thing.
He was also asked, why he refused to debate with Nikol Pashinyan, to which he answered: ” I have already answered that question, but will do that again. We preferred to present our pre-electoral plan to our citizens and be accountable for the work we have done in the last 4 years. So we had almost 100 outdoor meetings and tried to present our plan as much as possible. We prefer introducing those plans to our citizens better than… ”
To the question why they avoided the debate, he answered that they didn’t avoid it, their answer was clear.
Taron Margaryan was asked whether the latest revelations brought discredit upon RPA, to which he answered: “We urged them to do a normal campaign and not throw mud on each other. It is their approach. You saw how republicans carry out their campaign and we appreciate a normal campaign, so we will see the results after some hours. ”
When asked why the condition of the public transport has not improved during the last 6 years, during 4 years of which Taron Margaryan was the city mayor, Taron Margaryan said: “If you followed my campaign, you would see how I answered those questions and how I picture the solution.”
