May 22,2017 21:05

The Creative Armenia Business Challenge programme has invited aspiring entrepreneurs to share ideas on creating and managing startups in the area of performing and audiovisual arts, technology, design and publishing, music and cultural management. Creative Armenia Business Challenge seeks to promote creativity and culture as a tool for improving lives in Armenia. Participants should send their ideas by 25 May. The three winners will be announced at an Award Ceremony on 11 June.

Creative Armenia Business Challenge will provide resources and support to give aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to transform their innovative ideas into viable business models, with the help of experienced mentors.

The main objective of the programme is to help start-ups gain quick entry into the marketplace. It will help young people to work together, focusing on teambuilding and transforming talent into concrete achievements, as well as testing whether they can make their business model work.

The programme is part of the EU-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme, which supports the cultural and creative sectors’ contribution to sustainable humanitarian, social and economic development in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
