“The conflict entails possibilities to explode. At the same time, let us state that no new situation is in place in our life. For years the unresolved conflict of Karabakh and negotiation process have existed which is still in the same place”, told Levon Zourabian, Member of Parliament from “Tsarukyan” alliance, addressing the report by International Crisis Group, which has predicted war in Karabakh.
As stated by Zourabian, for the international society it is also apparent that the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh do not see a military settlement to the conflict and they prefer a peaceful settlement through negotiations.
“However, as long as Azerbaijan preserves its position, the threat of the recommencement of military operations exists”, noticed Levon Zourabian.
