“The Minsk Group countries are well aware of their interests and are guided by them. Any statement comes from the interests of those countries”, said the president of the International Centre for Human Development, former NA deputy Tevan Poghosyan, referring to the OSCE Minsk Group’s statement summarizing the regional visit.
Let us remind you that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs urged the Azerbaijani leadership to avoid further tension on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict contact line. They also sent a similar appeal to the RA and NKR authorities. “Addressivity must be based on real influence. The previous statement stressed that Azerbaijan was the first to shoot, but it was also said that Armenia responded”, noted Tevan Poghosyan.
He noted that the last statement by the Minsk Group was made when the Armenian side was responding to the enemy, although there is no video yet.
“A year ago, they agreed on the mechanisms of the investigation. Whose fault is that those are not being implemented? Azerbaijan’s. Are we doing anything to present it to the world? Three powerful countries do not manage to bring it to life. There are no mechanisms for investigation, thus, we should say: wherever I see 3 Azeris together I’ll get rid of them, and the responsibility is on you because you are not restricting them”, said Tevan Poghosyan.
