“The motives were political, it was not simply a shop robbery. All that was the consequence of bad administration and April War”, told “Yelq” bloc Member of Parliament Gevorg Gorgisyan on the occupation of the police station by “Sasna Tsrer” armed group during the discussion entitled “One year after the July crisis: limits of the right and violence of the rebellion”. According to him, the April War showed that a lot of issues were being justified with the circumstance of being a conflicting country, meanwhile, the experience showed that there are bigger problems in place – equality of rights, economic competition. “April onwards steps should have been undertaken for the people to understand the ruling party wants to implement changes, but they did not come to life. The ruling party is not ready to surrender the power”: noted the MP.
