On July 23, the border village of Chinari in the Berd district of Tavush region celebrated Vardavar. Chinari community head Samvel Saghoyan said that now Chinari border is calm.
According to him, on July 20, a resident of Chinari Tigran Vanyan’s 60 meters long, 12 meters wide animal farm was burned, together with the cover, as a result of the Azerbaijani bombardment. His 3000 packages of grass were burnt as well. Roofs f houses have been damaged in Chinari.
On July 21, the Azerbaijani bombardments burned the dry grass in the pasture, Chinari residents were able to extinguish the fire.
As S. Saghoyan states, Tavush regional governor Hovik Abovyan said that the Chinari people who suffered material losses from the Azerbaijani bombardment will be supported.
