On August 14, at around 11:00, Armenian soldier Arman S. Movsisyan was fatally wounded in one of the military posts of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) in northeastern direction as a result of the Azerbaijani fire.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, the press service of Karabakh Defense Ministry reports.
“The NKR Ministry of Defense shares the grief of the loss and extends condolences to the family members, relatives and co-servicemen of the deceased soldier,” the ministry says in a released statement.
