Anahit Bakhshyan, an education expert was also present at the presentation of the preliminary findings of the “Problems of Availability and Equality of Implementation of the Right to Education in the General Education Sphere of RA” research report of the “Open Society Foundations-Armenia”.
Touching upon the presented material Mrs. Bakhshyan noted, “It was a report containing a serious spectrum of great interests and questions. It is necessary to work carefully on each slide in order to be able to make conclusions, there was much information, that one needs to be aware of”.
Mrs. Bakhshyan drew parallels between the one-year report of the Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan and the presented report: “The first thought that came to my mind was whether the current Minister of Education and Science had paid attention to the data of the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia before presenting his one year report. Whether he has compared his words and the reality, and those 26 points that the Minister has reported have nothing to do with the issues included in this report. They are talking about different worlds: “Open Society Foundations” speaks of education, but I’m not sure what Mr. Mkrtchyan speaks of”.
