Children from Artsakh were asked, ‘Who is your enemy?’

March 16,2018 13:49

Ombudsman of Artsakh, Ruben Melikyan, posted a video on his Facebook page:

“In early March, 2018 a video from Azerbaijan went viral on social media. The video was uploaded by an Azerbaijani preschool depicting young students, who are taught that Armenians are their enemies.

We decided to check out the situation on the other side of the Line of Contact and so what the realities are.”

The children from Artsakh were asked, “Who is your enemy?” Most of the children answered that they do not have enemies. But some of them replied, “Spiderman”, “Dragon”, “Masha” (a character from a Russian cartoon “Masha and bear”).

The children also turned to the Azerbaijani children who were taught that Armenians are their enemies: “Yunis you are not my enemy”, “Yunis I am not your enemy”.
