Armenia Rose, where is the diaspora?

May 01,2018 13:02

I met Nikol Pashinian several times in the past twelve months and discovered that he was educated, capable and patriotic .
A week ago I thought he was intransigent but wasn’t it legitimate that he conducts the new elections process after what he initiated and went through?
It seems anyhow that his determination paid off.
He has also shown political flexibility in the last few days.

I met Karen Karapetyan earlier this year, liked his spontaneity, vivacity and sound judgment.
What a waste having lost Karen Karapetyan!

I want to salute the wisdom of Nikol Pashinian who put all his force to secure the peaceful character of the demonstrations, insisting that policemen were “our brothers”. Also, despite all, I would like to salute Serzh Sargsyan who understood early enough that he had lost the war and did not use force to grip to power.

Finally, I am proud of my homeland, its people and especially its youth, for displaying to the world the most civilized revolution ever, in a region teemed with autocratic dictators.

Armenia rose and will prosper.
My only question is where has the Diaspora been during the process?
Yesterday, we were looking from above at Hayasdantsis.
Now we have to look up, with respect for them.

I have a team of 9 persons in Armenia with an average age of 26 including 3 students, 4 graduates, and 2 university professors (click here to learn about them).
All nine took part in the recent demonstrations, some actively distracting the police forces.

The youth of Armenia won.
Now we need a revival of the Diaspora youth.
We are working towards achieving this aim!
