Bright and dark sides of revolution

On May 2, when all the streets were blocked, I came to Yerevan from Zovuni on foot, and then in the city, because of the circumstances, I had to walk for three hours. I claim that it was really an atmosphere of love and tolerance: the only thing that was unpleasant to me was the genre features of the loud music. In all other respects, the behavior of young people was quite acceptable, they were cheerfully smiling, dancing and playing. I noticed no incident, no disrespectful action towards one another or towards passengers.

Certainly, the blocked streets, and especially the metro, which I usually use, created inconveniences. But I did not care about those inconveniences because I also was angry about the Republican MPs’ behavior on the previous day: both because they had promised not to prevent the Prime Minister’s election but they eventually hindered and especially because they voiced “geopolitical” arguments. So, being a “non-politicized” person, I have no problems with the “street”.

I cannot say the same about “activists” who hang posters indicating the death of alive people, which, I think, is at least a bad taste in terms of a purely aesthetic, cultural manifestation. There are more restrained forms of expressing wrath and anger, that do not target people’s dignity. Death attributes, I think, should be used only for its proper purpose, otherwise, we seem to show disrespect towards all the dead. I understand that their leader talked about the death of the Republican Party in his final speech on May 1, but there is no need to understand everything literally.

I also want to note about a problem in the virtual space where the atmosphere is not of love and tolerance, and any suspicion, any concern about the process underway is expressed through ignorant curses and nothing but the exclamation marks can be understood.

In the end, I have a question for psychologists: why do women have the most aggressive attitude against women?
