Let us remind you, that group of armed men called “Sasna Tsrer” seized police patrol regiment building on July 17, 2016. Massive demonstrations started in Yerevan and police used special measures and excessive force. Police detained many demonstrators including Andrias Ghukasyan.
Today, during the hearing of Ghukasyan’s case his lawyer, Karen Mezhlumyan made a motion to free as grounds for keeping him in detention are missing. The judge, Vardan Grigoryan, accepted the motion. And Andrias Ghukasyan was released from the courtroom.
