The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will visit Yerevan in June to get acquainted with the new leadership of Armenia. Spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan stated this at the press conference today. He informed that the terms of the meeting are being arranged.
As for the possible meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, according to him, there is no such arrangement at this point. Tigran Balayan noted that Armenia’s position on the Artsakh conflict has not changed. “We believe that the conflict should be settled solely peacefully based on the proposals of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs”.
Referring to former Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan’s statement that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s “Armenia is considered a party to the conflict” qualification is dangerous, Balayan refused to make remarks.
