First get to know and then ‘analyze’

June 06,2018 12:33

If I write an analysis, for example, on the astrology and start from the statement that the Sun goes around the Earth, then, I suppose, all other conclusions and estimations will leave the readers doubtful. But it is astrology, which should be based upon facts, and the “political science”, “oration” or “journalism” presumably should not be based on facts and for that reason, it is possible to say any stupid thing. Of course, I do not think so and it is for that reason that I have taken the names of those professions in the quotation marks. In this case, I mean Russian and non-Armenian “analysts” sent here by some forces of the Russian Federation. When one of them writes that Pashinyan has dismissed “pro-Russian” Yuri Khachaturov from the position of the head of the headquarter of the Armed Forces, I believe I have a right not to read the remaining part of the “analysis”, inasmuch as the “analyst” is not competent in the topic. Meanwhile it was not difficult to spend three minutes and at least look through “Wikipedia” and learn that on October 3, 2016, under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia (that is – Serzh Sargsyan), Khachaturov was appointed as the Secretary of the National Security Commission by being dismissed from the position of the head of the Headquarter of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. It is clear that the objective of the “analysis” is to show the seeming “anti-Russian” feature of the incumbent Government of Armenia, but before spreading that fraud it was worth to get acquainted with the facts for a little.

Another analyst, first and foremost, does not know the names of Armenian lobbyist organizations in the US and after that, he makes such a conclusion which could be born only in an ill mind. “It appears” that Syria recognized Abkhazia and South Ossetia… due to the pressure of the “Armenian lobby” in Russia. But firstly, there are no lobbyist organizations in Russia, as well as any other non-democratic countries. And if they were, then it is not understandable why they should have been worried by Abkhazia and South Ossetia – do the Russian-Armenians have no other things to do? And in this case, the objective is to make us and the Georgians fight – the “analysis” was made before the Armenian Prime Minister’s visit to Georgia. But again – even for a “brutal” propaganda it is needed to dive deeper into the topic a bit more. Otherwise, it appears as if the ignorant author works for the ignorant auditorium.

Another story is “Soros” – not the American rich man and his foundation, but a common character of all that some circles in Russia disapprove of. They try to label the incumbent Government as “Soros”, which also does not speak of the high intellect and knowledge of the “labelers”. It is interesting if we also make such mistakes when writing about the incidents in another country.
