By the decision of the investigator of the Special Investigation Service of Armenia, Vachagan Ghazaryan, former First Deputy Head of the State Security Service of the Armenian National Security Service, was arrested on 25.06.2018.
The latter is suspected of committing crimes defined by Article 310.1 and Article 314.3, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, that is of gaining wealth illegally, as well as of submitting false data in the declarations provided by the Armenian law “On Public Service” and concealing the data subject to declaration.
The investigation is underway.
