Within the framework of the criminal case under investigation according to the Article 235 Part 1 and Part 2 and Part 1, Part 3 of Article 179 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia by the Armenian Special Investigation Service on Manvel Grigoryan, on 27.06.2018 the Senior Investigator of the Special Investigation Service arrested Nazik Amiryan.
Nazik Amiryan, the wife of former member of parliament, general Manvel Grigoryan, who was arrested on June 16, is suspected of committing a criminal act envisaged by Part 2 of Article 235 of the Armenian Criminal Code, that is of illegally storing large quantities of weapons and ammunition, acquired from an unknown source, in the house belonging to her and Manvel Grigoryan, in Alaverdyan street 46, Vagharshapat, as well as in Lchapnya 28th and 30th administrative buildings in Arshaluys village, Armavir province. The investigation is underway.
