Pashinyan’s order to Armed Forces: ‘Must be ready for any scenario’

There is a tension on Armenia-Azerbaijan border. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan replied to the question what he had been reported earlier on the aforementioned: “We have already heard that there are accumulations of Azerbaijani forces, we also know that military exercises are going to take place, according to their announcements – extensive military exercises, and I think the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia should be ready for any scenario of the development of the situation and my order to the Armed Forces was the latter.”

Let us remind you that the military exercises will take place from July 2 to 6, and the location is still unknown.

Speaking about extraordinary parliamentary elections and answering to the question which format would “Civic Agreement” party choose for participation in the latter, the Prime Minister said that they now hold discussions to make the format of participation precise both within the party and together with other forces. For now, the discussions are held within “Yelq” bloc.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, extraordinary parliamentary elections are going to take place within a year: “The clear date and time depend on the political situation and some technical issues as well.”
