Spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan touched upon the fact that Syrian Armenians, who are citizens of Armenia, had problems entering Georgia in June. “They were not allowed to enter Georgia, but at the moment we have an official response from Georgia that there are no such restrictions”, said Tigran Balayan.
He noted that if the citizens of Armenia face such a problem, they should immediately contact the Armenian Embassy in Georgia or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia for solving the issue.
Then Tigran Balayan commented on the recent statement of the “Forum of Armenian Unions of Europe”, that Armenian Ambassador to the Czech Republic and Slovakia Tigran Seyranyan had helped the Republican members to acquire real estate in Prague. Balayan urged not to take such information seriously: “This person (the president of the forum Ashot Grigoryan) said that Safarov was sentenced to life imprisonment by his efforts… he presents the situation in a way beneficial to himself”.
