New signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos has tipped new Arsenal teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan to become one of the best players in the Premier League. Sportsmole reports.
In January, Mkhitaryan ended a mixed 18-month spell with Manchester United to move to the Emirates Stadium, where he netted three goals in 17 outings during the second half of the campaign.
However, Sokratis – who played with Mkhitaryan at Borussia Dortmund – has predicted that the best is still to come from the Armenian playmaker.
Sokratis told Arsenal Player: “With the ball, without the ball, how he works for the team, when he creates, when he returns with the team, it’s just amazing.
“What he showed in his last year in Dortmund, he was one of the best in the Bundesliga. I think he can also be one of the best here in the Premier League.”
Sokratis penned a long-term contract with the Gunners at the start of the month.
