Coordinator of the Committee of Nagorno-Karabakh of Helsinki Initiative-92, International Lauriat of Peace and Human Rights, Karen Ohanjanyan, writes on his Facebook page: “Lately some provocateurs wanting to introduce March 1 case as a process against Karabakh people have activated connected with the detention of the Second President of Armenia on March 1 case. The behavior of the employees of some services makes me upset. I want to ask the ones who support such unpleasant politics and are in favor of it. What does the investigation of March 1 incidents and the detention of the Second President of Armenia have to do with Karabakh? Are the restoration of justice and the fair punishment of the murderers of their own people a process against Nagorno-Karabakh? I urgently demand everyone to stop any kind of speculations connected with March 1 case investigation. Let me mention on purpose, that I do not think Nikol Pashinyan demolishes the unity of our people in Armenia, Artsakh, and Diaspora. Moreover, I am assured he endeavors to erase the concepts of Karabakhtsi (meaning Karabakh people), Axbar (diasporan Armenian) and Hayastantsi (Armenian residing in Armenia). What he did was high of a value and unprecedented – he sent his son to serve in Artsakh. As compared to the previous leaders, whose sons and sons-in-law had not served in the Artsakh, the Prime Minister of Armenia proved that he is more Artsakh-concerned than the ones who attempt to restore their lost positions on Karabakh map and revenge. Where were you, dear presidents, in the days of April War, if you were that much concerned about Artsakh destiny and upset over the artificial issue created by yourselves – Artsakhtsi, Hayastantsi? I do not open the brackets even further not to make you ashamed in front of your own people. Or, do you think your tiny charities costing 30 to 50 thousand USD compensate your indifference and criminal negligence in the degradation of Armenian nation? Enough of terrorizing the social peace of our people! Finally, understand one thing, that today the whole Armenian nation – Armenia, Artsakh, and Diaspora, are united. We support the new leader of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, in bringing our people back to the field of civilized international relations with unified efforts, from where you had thrown them out. I urge all people, the whole Armenian nation to unite around Nikol Pashinyan and his government, Bako Sahakyan, and his government, our Great Diaspora once again, and show our willingness of defending the ideals of Armenians to the whole world, building a fair and prosperous state. Long live the united Armenian nation!”
