President Armen Sarkissian received a delegation from Lebanon which comprises entrepreneurs, representatives of state bodies, and heads of municipal administration. The visit has been organized through the cooperation of Business Armenia and Lebanese Gardenia Grain D’Or Company to present the business and investment climate in Armenia and to discuss opportunities for cooperation.
Welcoming the guests, President Sarkissian noted that the two nations and countries are linked through a close friendship, and Armenia encourages the development of the relations with Lebanon in all areas. He noted that there are ample examples of successful business stories of the Lebanese Armenians and non-Armenians and every opportunity is there to implement new business ideas. “Armenia is a wonderful country for making investments, for success. One should consider that Armenia is not just a small nation but a great platform to access markets of different countries,” President Sarkissian said. He expressed readiness within the scope of his abilities to assist in the implementation of mutually beneficial projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President Sarkissian responded to the questions raised by the members of the delegation.
