President Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the legendary goalkeeper of the Ararat-73 football team Alyosha Abrahamian. The letter states:
“I was deeply saddened by the news on the demise of the legendary goalkeeper Alyosha Abrahamian. He defended the honor of his team and our nation, always impeccable as a sportsman and as a man. Even after his departure, thanks to his legendary performance and football biography, the football gates of the Ararat-73 will stay unbreakable and in our memory he will remain the selfless and dignified defender of ”our common gates”.
I convey my condolences to the family and friends of the renowned athlete, to all football fans and share their grief.”
