On 17–21 September, employees of the State Examination Centre of Azerbaijan will visit the United Kingdom (UK) to learn about the country’s experience developing and implementing tools applied in examinations to create favourable conditions for persons with disabilities.
In particular, they will meet with Cambridge Assessment and state qualification and examination experts, who will present regulatory requirements, policy and practical application of language testing for candidates with special requirements. They will also study the UK’s experience of teacher training and examination procedures for disabled students and see how these tools could be applied in their country.
Azerbaijani experts will also discuss possible collaboration with their counterparts at Cambridge University on supervisory training for test administration.
The visit has been organised by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX), in cooperation with the University of Cambridge.
