A teacher from one of the schools in Byurakan near the Cascade monument, who has been teaching the French language for 37 years, approached Mrs. Macron and had a short conversation with her. The teacher said that it’s not every day when she can speak in French with such high-level guests; therefore, she did not let this opportunity pass by. She gave the French First Lady a warm welcome. Mrs. Macron said that Armenia had greatly welcomed her. The teacher then told Macron that she is the wife of the president of an ally of Armenia, and that we are happy that they recognize and accept the Armenian Genocide.
