As a result of the police’s operative investigative work, the identity of the mother of the twins abandoned at the “Child Care and Protection Boarding School No. 2 named after Frityov Nansen” in Gyumri. She is an 18-year-old resident of Masis, Ararat.
The mother said that she gave birth on October 1st, 2018 at the Masis Maternity Ward. She gave birth to the children via a C-section, and since she did not feel well after giving birth, and because of her terrible living conditions, she decided to take the children to an orphanage. By the way, the police who visited her home also said that the woman lives in a small place that has no proper facilities.
She lives alone. The woman said that the father of her children was her boyfriend, but she did not give any information about him. She only said that he is not from Masis.
As far as why she brought the babies to Gyumri, the mother said that she wanted them to be as far away as possible from her home so that she doesn’t get shamed. The mother said that the conditions at the orphanage will be much better than the conditions where she lives. Through leaving her children at the orphanage, she knew that someone would have taken them and raised them in better conditions.
