‘As long as Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan is not in jail, Pashinyan shouldn’t think of speaking about corruption’: David Shahnazaryan

November 27,2018 17:32

“The current Prime Minister is speaking of corruption, and that is the perfect demagogue. As long as Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan, who illegally won 35 thousand dollars, is not in jail, Nikol Pashinyan should not even think about speaking of corruption. He has not done anything serious to fight against corruption. Just propaganda,” RPA candidate David Shahnazaryan told reporters.

When asked if the current authorities are in need of professionals, David Shahnazaryan replied, “When people say that there is a lack of professionals among the current authorities, I do not completely agree. Why are the members of the current administration so pitiful? Because there is no political movement, there is no political direction. They had a plan to bring in investments since the beginning, then their plan was to deal with political issues than to eradicate the RPA. Their plans change constantly, or else they would have learned something by now. Pashinyan used to speak constantly about investments. He was like Grigor Hambardzumovich, who copied Tumanyan’s Grigor: investments, investors. That can’t happen, there needs to be lawfulness in order for there to be investors.” Shahnazaryan said that the Prime Minister, during his scandalous speech, said that people even come to him to change the color of their cars. “That’s because all of your ministers are bureaucrats, they don’t make decisions. He doesn’t make decisions either, and until now, he hasn’t made any decisions.”
