Azerbaijan created hills along Artsakh border for attacks: David Shahnazaryan

December 04,2018 14:46

David Shahnazaryan, who is one of the leading candidates on the RPA proportional list, said during a press conference that there have been changes along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact. “Ever since May, they have attempted to construct hills there, but gunfire stopped them from continuing this work. These hills are 1300-1700 meters away from the Line of Contact, and five kilometers away from one another. They are along the entire Line of Contact. This construction project started in full swing on September 27th. A part of the hills is already ready. The other part is still being constructed.”

David Shahnazaryan showed pictures of these hills, saying that there is a greater density of them where the reliefs are at a low altitude, in the place where attacks with armored vehicles are too dangerous. The height of these hills is between 11 and 15 meters.

According to Shahnazaryan, Aliyev is preparing for an attack on Artsakh on his side, and Pashinyan has started political attacks on Artsakh’s military leadership on this side. “I am not in favor of the thought that this is a result of being inexperienced. This is politics, which is why several forces were in favor of him coming to power.”
