‘No one made compromises after 1991, and I don’t think that they will do so now’: International Center for Human Development head

December 22,2018 13:36

“There’s nothing new. It’s just old news: our war has not ended,” head of the International Center for Human Development Tevan Poghosyan told reporters regarding developments surrounding the Artsakh issue.

Tevan Poghosyan said that the current phase is a propaganda war. He spoke about how one month ago, Interfax wrote that the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azeri villages. “We need to understand from this that there are tools that the Azeris are using,” he said. Regarding the fact that the border has been relatively calm lately, Poghosyan said that this may be due to the fact that there was a counterattack where the Azeris did not have their intended results. He considers this to be a preparation phase. “If we prepare well, then bravo, because the next scenarios will clearly not be good ones.”

Tevan Poghosyan concluded, “No one made compromises after 1991, and I don’t imagine that anyone will do so now.”
