“An economic revolution is when all people- our citizens, our entrepreneurs- have the ability to think, create, and work freely. An economic revolution needs to be carried out by those who participate in the economy. The government is the biggest player in that game and it must make sure that initiatives created by economic subjects face no obstacles. This is an important change and revolution,” Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan told reporters regarding his visions about an economic revolution after the session of government.
According to Khachatryan, “There are two very important indicators in the government’s plan. The government announced that the export of products and services will be the guarantor of economic growth and movement. We do not have the final summary and index from 2018, but we have a 38 percent export of products and services to the GDP.”
The other important indicator in the government’s plan, according to the minister, is pure growth in investments through primary means.
